Emily Bonner – Video Journalist
Emily is from Liverpool and studied Journalism at The University of Westminster. After graduating, Emily stayed in London to work for a financial magazine then a ski & surf company before moving back up North. An adrenaline junkie, she isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty.
Nathan Griffiths – Video Journalist
After finishing school, Nathan almost immediately joined up with Sky as a Junior Researcher, working within both the Sky Sports News and Rugby Union departments. Following his placement, he moved to Manchester to work for PDi Media, an independent production company, who were in charge of producing content for Arsenal TV. Having worked as a reporter for Arsenal for 2 seasons, he moved on to complete placements with BBC Entertainment until he landed a full time job at Liverpool.
Peter Berry – Video Journalist
Peter began his broadcasting career at Radio City in Liverpool before making the move to television news at Granada television’s state of the art news centre in Liverpool’s Albert Dock. During his time at Granada Peter became a news editor as well as producer of Granada’s live weekly politics programme The Sunday Supplement, shortlisted for a Royal Television Society North West Centre award for Best Current Affairs Programme; Peter was also chairman of the RTS North West for two years. Peter also presented the then GMTV regional opt-out buleltins for Granada before making the move into university teaching. Peter is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, the Society of Editors and hold two level seven Post Graduate Certificates in Education. Peter returned to television news last year joining the team at Liverpool.
Charlene Smith – Video Journalist
Charlene works as a video journalist with the news team at Made in Liverpool. With a passion for her home of Liverpool, Charlene is loving working and promoting the best this great city has to offer.
Before coming to city television Charlene worked in radio as a broadcast journalist for BBC and Global media. She has also worked in television as a researcher for BBC News and Current Affairs and Entertainment.
Charlene’s education includes a BA Hons Degree in Television Production and a Post Grad in Journalism.
